Jasmine Abuslin's claims of having underage sex with law enforcement, led to an internal investigation in Richmond and the internal investigation of 11 officers.

The original recommendation was to fire just one of those officers. Richmond's mayor and its police chief both confirmed Saturday night that the city manager has decided to fire three more officers, as well as reprimand five others. The remaining two officers left their jobs for unrelated reasons.
The city manager decided on more stringent discipline than the internal investigator initially recommended, Butt said.
The officers have the opportunity to request a hearing and the right to appeal the decision.
