Missing former San Jose State football player found safe, family says

DALY CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- A former San Jose State University football player reported missing more than a week ago has been found.

Family members tell ABC7 Eyewitness News Hadari Darden was found in Berkeley Wednesday and he is now in the care of family.

The 28-year-old had not been seen since April 6.

Darden was a defensive linebacker at San Jose State, graduating in 2021.

He was also a star player at Contra Costa College and Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward.

His mom told said she worried concussions or head injuries from football may have affected his behavior.
