Evacuation warning issued as crews battle 4-alarm vegetation fire near Mt. Diablo

CLAYTON, Calif. (KGO) -- An evacuation warning has been sent out to residents as crews battle a 4-alarm vegetation fire between Morgan Territory State Park and Mount Diablo State Park in Contra Costa County.

"Residents between Morgan Territory State Park and Mount Diablo State Park, also known as ZONES: CCC-249 and CCC-250 should PREPARE TO EVACUATE," Contra Costa County's message read from its Community Warning System.

According to CAL FIRE, the fire is approximately 50 acres with multiple ground and aerial crews responding.

No structures are threatened, and no injuries have been reported at this time, according to Contra Costa Fire.
