NFL takes over youth soccer field by Levi's Stadium for Super Bowl 50

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- The NFL has officially taken over the youth soccer field next to Levi's Stadium on Monday for Super Bowl 50.

But the league will have to wait before it sets up a media camp there.

A legal showdown expected Thursday between a youth soccer league and the city of Santa Clara regarding Super Bowl 50 has been postponed.

A youth soccer league is fighting to keep access to the turf.

A hearing is set for Wednesday for a preliminary injunction. The judge hopes the NFL won't do anything to the field until he rules.
