
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The Ruby Princess cruise ship was docked for disinfection at San Francisco's Pier 27 Thursday morning after a norovirus outbreak affected dozens of passengers and crew.
More than 100 passengers and over 20 crew members got sick on a 20-day cruise.

Princess Cruises says its crew responded promptly by implementing enhanced sanitation protocols across the ship, and cases have since decreased and remain low.
Officials say the ship is undergoing "comprehensive cleaning and disinfection prior to departing in the afternoon for her next voyage."
