PHOTOS: Mourners gather at funeral for Joan Rivers

NEW YORK -- Joan Rivers was memorialized in her hometown of New York City on Sunday. A memorial service for Rivers, 81, took place at Temple Emanu-El in Manhattan. The legendary comedian died "peacefully" surrounded by friends and family, her daughter Melissa Rivers said Thursday.
