San Francisco's North Beach festival underway this weekend

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco's annual North Beach Festival returns this weekend.

Considered one of the country's original outdoor festivals, the annual event combines arts and crafts and live music with gourmet food.

There will be a chalk art area for the kids plus a circus with trapeze, tight-rope walking, juggling acts, and more.

The festival is free and runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
