Sonoma-Marin Fair holds annual ugly dog contest

PETALUMA, Calif. (KGO) -- The Sonoma-Marin Fair starts Wednesday in Petaluma and that means the return of a contest just for homely hounds in the fair's annual "World's Ugliest Dog" contest.

It draws dogs from around the world.

Organizers are accepting entries now.

Contest organizers say it's not meant to demean scraggly pets, but to celebrate imperfection.
