Investigation underway after house fire in San Francisco
San Francisco firefighters are investigating a fire at a home in the Ingleside District.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Fire investigators are looking into the cause of an early morning fire in San Francisco that sent one person to the hospital.

The fire was reported at 1 a.m. at a home on Miramar Avenue in the Ingleside District. A resident said the fire started in the garage and a loud boom he heard a loud boom.

A woman was taken to the hospital to be checked out for smoke inhalation.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
