The San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday exercised the option on fullback Kyle Juszczyk, a source confirmed to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Juszczyk, 28, a fourth-round pick by Baltimore in 2013 out of Harvard, had 20 catches for 239 yards and a touchdown, while being used largely as a safety-valve option out of the backfield for Jimmy Garoppolo, as San Francisco finished 13-3 on their way to the Super Bowl.

For his career, including four seasons with the Ravens and three with the 49ers, he has 180 catches for 1,647 yards and eight touchdowns.
