Fire officials are investigating a restaurant in Naples, Florida, after part of the building collapsed while people were inside.
In a structural field service report from 2018, engineers pointed out the evidence of flooding, cracking and corrosion in the building.
Champlain Tower South, a 12-story residential condo in the beachside town of Surfside, has 136 units, and 55 have collapsed.
"He was sticking his hand up .... through the debris. And I could see his hand and his fingers wiggling," Nicholas Balboa said.
Nearly 169 people could be dead after 55 out of 136 units in Champlain Tower South collapsed Thursday.
