San Francisco Giants trade C Joey Bart to Pittsburgh Pirates
Catcher Joey Bart, 27, the No. 2 pick in the 2018 amateur draft who was designated for assignment Sunday by the Giants, was traded to the Pirates on Tuesday night in exchange for right-handed pitcher Austin Strickland.
