East Oakland youth organization creates a free storefront to help community

SOLIDARITY, NOT CHARITY: An East Bay grassroots organization has created a free storefront for community members impacted by COVID-19. "We want folks to shop for free and grab what they need," said Rogelio X., an inventory coordinator with Homies Empowerment.
