The Oakland Athletics reportedly have agreed to a deal with free-agent third baseman Trevor Plouffe, pending a physical.
Michael Sam is flying to Dallas on Tuesday night and will take a physical Wednesday and if all goes well they will add him to their practice squad, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
