SAN PABLO, Calif. (KGO) -- Supervisors in one East Bay County approved a last-ditch effort to save a troubled hospital.

The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors voted on two measures to relieve the financial pressure on Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo.

They approved delaying a $3 million property tax payment owed by the hospital to the county.

They also permanently waved $9 million in future repayments.
