Vallejo Fire Truck Involved in Serious Accident While Responding to Call

VALLEJO, Calif. -- A Vallejo fire engine was involved in a serious injury accident while responding to an emergency call Saturday.

Vallejo police say the fire truck was heading to a house fire with full lights and sirens on when the truck collided with a car on Sonoma Boulevard. Four firefighters and three people in another vehicle all suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. All the victims were transported to Bay Area trauma centers.
