Time is running out Monday night for victims of the massive Valley Fire to get government help.

In-person registration for FEMA assistance just ended at 6 p.m. but fire victims in Lake, Napa and Sonoma counties can still apply for grants and loans online or by phone until midnight.

The Valley Fire, which started in September and burned for more than a month, destroyed more than 1,200 homes.
