Takeaway of the Day
The Heat Advisory is in place until 10 p.m. Thursday. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in place from 8 p.m. tonight until 1 a.m. Thursday. Minor flooding is possible along the bay shoreline and the interior North Bay. Afternoon highs will be well above average, from near 80 at the coast, 90s around the bay to near or over 100 inland.

High clouds continue to increase as well as humidity into Thursday.

Wednesday will be the hottest day with a breeze setting up Thursday. Continued oppressive heat lingers inland into Thursday. The rest of the bay will experience some heat relief with as afternoon sea breeze.
