Today is the hottest day of the week, with many cities reaching daytime highs in the triple digits.

A HEAT ADVISORY remains in effect for parts of the Bay Area until 7 p.m. tomorrow.

Offshore winds and elevated fire weather conditions will continue today.

Higher-than-normal tides leading to coastal flooding are expected across coastal regions of the San Francisco Bay Area, so a COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY remains in effect from 7 p.m. tonight to 3 a.m. Wednesday.

A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT remains in effect until 9 p.m. tonight due to sneaker waves and strong rip currents.

Hot, dry weather will continue through the end of the work week. Temperatures will start to drop tomorrow and continue to cool through the weekend. Though temperatures will return to normal, high tide flooding will continue through next week.
