AccuWeather Forecast: Summer spread developing today

A thinner and drier marine layer blankets most of us this Monday morning. Any drizzle falls mainly near the Coast. Temperatures hold in the lower to upper 50s during the morning commute.

Faster sunshine and slower breezes take over today as high pressure builds over our neighborhoods. Highs climb a few degrees at the Coast with 6 to 12 degrees of warming across the Bay and Inland communities.

Look for similar conditions tonight with lows a couple degrees warming and patchy fog along the Coast, coastal valleys and near Highway 101 in the North Bay.

The clouds return to the Coast a bit faster and afternoon highs climb a couple degrees. Thankfully, nothing extreme like last week.
