AccuWeather Forecast: Coast remains cloudy and cooler, warm weekend ahead

Cloud cover will clear around the bay shoreline by 11 a.m., but a portion of the coastline stretching from San Francisco to Half Moon Bay will remain cloudy into the afternoon. Daytime highs will be cooler at the coast, where there is lingering cloud cover, only reaching the low to mid 60s for the high today. Areas away from the coast will be in the 70s and 80s.

A Look Ahead
Temperatures will return to above average this weekend with a moderate heat risk for parts of the Bay Area Sunday-Tuesday. Mother's Day will be warm, dry and mostly clear. Temperatures will peak on Monday.
