SAN JOSE, Calif. -- A lucky California Lottery player who purchased a winning Fantasy 5 lottery ticket in San Jose has yet to claim their $200,499 winnings, lottery officials said.

The player matched all five numbers, 18, 1, 27, 8, and 12 to Friday night's Fantasy 5 drawing.

The ticket was purchased at Gio Hoe May Cafe, located at 2398 Senter Road in San Jose.

The winner is instructed to sign the back of their ticket in ink, keep it in a safe place and contact California Lottery officials or visit any of the nine lottery district offices as soon as they can to claim their winnings.

Lottery players have 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim the Fantasy 5 top prize, lottery officials said.

Fantasy 5 tickets are $1 and a player wins the top prize by matching five numbers out of a field of 39 in the drawing.

The top prize starts at $50,000 and increases daily until it is hit, according to lottery officials.

Lottery officials said 95 cents of every dollar spent by C players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges as well as in the form of prizes and Lottery retailer compensation.

The California Lottery urges individuals to play the lottery responsibly and within their budgets.
