New York Viewpoint

NEW YORK Every Sunday morning over 36,000 households tune in to watch "New York Viewpoint", "New Jersey Viewpoint" and "Long Island Viewpoint". The programs highlight the community and cultural efforts that enrich the quality of life in our neighborhoods.

These weekly round-table discussions are hosted by Eyewitness News anchor Ken Rosato.

Viewpoint airs at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

This week on New York Viewpoint: April 6th, 2014
Today we bring you information on a non-profit called Strike debt that is working to help people deal with their financial burden. We also will have with us the Urban Wall Street Young Producers, a group that is using media production to enhance learning.

But first, have you ever counted the number of wireless devices you use in your daily life? Scientists have been reporting that radiation exposure from these cell phones, WiFi and other wireless devices can affect us in more ways than we realize.

Joining us in the studio are Camilla Rees, founder of ElectromagneticHealth.org and the Campaign for Radiation Free Schools; Dr. David Carpenter, Director of the Institute for Health and the Environment at University at Albany, School of Public Health; and Lawrence Gust, Board President of the International Institute of Building-Biology and Ecology.
