MARIN COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Two school districts in Marin County may adjust school start times so students can get more sleep.

According to our media partner, The Marin Independent Journal, both Novato and San Rafael school districts are exploring the possibility of moving school start times to 8:30a.m.

Medical studies show that middle and high school students benefit greatly from more sleep and are likely to get better grades.

Novato high school currently has some classes starting at 7:15a.m.
