SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- Firefighters have contained a small grass fire that burned near Interstate 880 and Interstate 238 highways in San Leandro.
The fire started at around 6:38 p.m. and produced a lot of smoke, but only burned two to three acres.
The California Highway patrol closed the I-880/I-238 connector due to the fire. The connector has reopened but the right lane of southbound I-880 connector ramp remains closed.
