Illegal marijuana grow found at Bayview District home

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco firefighters discovered an illegal, marijuana grow in the Bayview District early Tuesday morning.

Bags of pot plants stood outside the home on Lane Street a few blocks from a police station.

Firefighters alerted police after seeing marijuana plants in the window of the home.

They had gone to the house after getting a report of arching, electrical wires.

Police also found special heat lamps and other equipment used to grow marijuana.
