VIDEO: 5-day old puppy at ABC7's adoption event
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A very small pup made a big splash at ABC7's adoption event on Thursday. The puppy, that's estimated to be about 5 days old, was bottle fed by ABC7's Natasha Zouves during the morning news on Thursday. This pup was there, along with several other dogs, for ABC7's adoption event in honor of National Puppy Day.
Kelly with Humane Society of Silicon Valley told Natasha that this puppy, and four others, was found at a park in San Jose. When they came in, she says they had their umbilical cords, which don't usually fall off until they're about 3 days old.
Kelly says the puppies are being fostered right now and won't be up for adoption until they're closer to 10 weeks old.
