Six Flags in Vallejo relocates elephants to safari park in Oregon

Elephants play in the water at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo has relocated its two elephants named Liz and Valerie.

Both have been at the park since the mid-1990s.

Six Flags has been phasing out its elephants after deciding they would be better off in a more social environment, than in the confines of their habitat in Vallejo.

The two elephants are now at Wildlife Safari in Oregon, a 600 acre drive-through safari park.
