College football teams the California Golden Bears and Hawaii Warriors have wasted no time visiting the sites of Sydney after arriving in Australia early on Monday morning.

Both sides took in some of Sydney's most famous landmarks with the Bears taking a dip at Bondi beach, despite the cold weather.

While the Warriors took part in a jersey swap and weightlifting session with AFL side Greater Western Sydney Giants, before attending an NRL match between the Rabbitohs and Sharks at ANZ Stadium.

The international clash between the Golden Bears and Warriors will be the first FBS game of the season and it's being dubbed as the "College Football Sydney Cup." It'll be the first American football game in Australia since 1999, and the country's first college football game since 1987. The two teams will compete in ANZ Stadium, which was originally built for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
