OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Golden State Warriors fans have been lining up all over the Bay Area to purchase official NBA gear celebrating the Dubs historic playoff run.
You thought making it to the NBA Finals was difficult, try finding the official hat worn by the players.

"Well, the Mrs. wanted a hat and she's not going to do it, so I've got to do it," said Ryan Becerra, Fremont resident.
Dedicated husband Ryan Becerra was first in line at 4:30 a.m. at Dick's Sporting Goods in Fremont hoping to snag the snapback. Dozens of others joined him, but when the doors opened early at 7 a.m. there was disappointing news.
"Hey guys I don't have any of the Finals hats," said a Dick's employee.
Dick's does have Finals hats, they look pretty cool, but they're not the Finals hats. Some fans are not willing to compromise.

"It's not the locker room one. They don't have it today, we'll come back tomorrow," said a Dick's customer.
The shortage of Finals hats happened last year, too. And just like last year, the locker room hats are being sold on eBay, way over retail price.

Just like the Warriors, Dub Nation is resilient. Some of those in line in Fremont ended up in line at the Adidas store at the Great Mall in Milpitas, but still no hats.
Dick's Sporting Goods plans to have the locker room Finals hats at all of its Bay Area locations on Wednesday.
