A drone is now helping lifeguards find sharks off the Southern California coast.

It allows lifeguards at Orange County City's Seal Beach to check large areas of the water quickly.

In the past, lifeguards have surveyed the water while riding a jet ski. That process usually takes about two hours.

The drone can get it done in 20 minutes.
