Airline tickets for dogs can cost as much as tickets for people. A North Bay man flying with two dogs found a bargain price, until the airline told him one of the dogs had to stay behind.
It was a panic situation -- there he was at the airport with two dogs, and the agent saying only one could get on board. He couldn't leave his precious pooch behind, so he paid twice. Then like a dog with a bone, tried for two years to get that money back.
