Javier Arroyo, of San Francisco, was found shot inside a multi-unit residence in the 5300 block of Mission Street, according to police.
Neighbors reported hearing a gunshot at about 8:30 a.m., police said.
Arroyo was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and pronounced dead at 11:20 a.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
No arrests have been made in the case, police said.
