Eric Ely was also interviewed. He is a superintendent from New York. He says he is a strong fiscal conservative who's ready to make some of the tough cuts needed here in Toledo.
TPS is still struggling to eliminate a nearly $30 million deficit. Whoever takes over for the current super, John Foley, will have to face possible financial hardship in a district widely affected by decreases in property taxes, state funding, and student enrollment.
