10-year-old organizes coat drive to help homeless

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.

Amy Gifford started Amy's Warm Wishes last week. She placed fliers and boxes at several CVS Pharmacy stores, and people donated all of these coats in just the past few days.

"I decided I would give back to the homeless people who don't have a house and who are really, really cold during the winter," she said.

Amy's dad works for CVS Pharmacy, and she got the idea while watching extreme make-over home edition, which airs on ABC 7 Sunday nights.
