'Romper Room' host Nancy Besst dies

SAN FRANCISCO

The show began on KGO-TV in 1958 and Nancy was the host until 1969. She appeared on the 40th Anniversary Special for ABC7 in 1989.

Nancy Besst died Aug. 14th in San Rafael after a long illness. She was 77 years old.
