Linda Gray, Hagman's co-star on 'Dallas,' released a statement through her agent Friday night that read in part:
"Larry Hagman was my best friend for 35 years. He was the pied piper of life and brought joy to everyone he knew. He was the pied piper of life and brought joy to everyone he knew. He was creative, generous, funny, loving and talented and I will miss him tremendously."
The Dallas Morning News says Hagman, who was also well known for his role on 'I Dream of Jeannie,' died Friday at a Dallas area hospital and that Lane, as well as co-star and friend Patrick Duffy, were at Hagman's bedside when he died.
