Teacher arrested on drug charges in Person County

PERSON COUNTY, N.C.

Cristin Elliott Folgeman, 30, teaches the second grade at Falls Lake Academy, and she's been suspended with pay.

Fogleman is accused of possessing and selling prescription pills out of her own home while her one year old son was home.

Person County Sheriff Dewey Jones says Fogleman's arrest was just like any other in a massive drug roundup and operation where 90 people were arrested.

Fogleman is a former Durham Public schools teacher, and is a new teacher at Falls Lake Academy in Granville County.

Fogleman told ABC11 via text message that she is innocent of all charges. She claims she just happened to be in the home where the alleged crime occurred.

She is due in court in November.
