Bernie Sanders' surprise stop at San Francisco's Haight Ashbury neighborhood delights residents

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders made a surprise stop in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, to the delight of many who just happened to be nearby.

One Twitter user tweeted video of when the Vermont senator walked by and shook her hand and wrote, "WHAT JUST HAPPENED UNREAL."

Another Twitter user posted a photo of her hugging Sanders.

And tweeted about how emotional she became while meeting him.
