Young child hit by van in SF

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A three year old child is recovering after getting hit by a van while crossing the street in the Mission District Thursday.

It happened just before 11:30 a.m. at 21st and Mission Street.

The child went to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to recover.

The driver of the van stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.

Earlier in the day a man was hospitalized after getting struck by a car at the intersection of Brotherhood and Thomas Moore Way in San Francisco.
