Davis police officer's father tearfully reads eulogy at memorial

DAVIS, Calif. (KGO) -- Merced Corona, the father of slain Davis Police Officer Natalie Corona, read her eulogy at a memorial service on Friday.

He described how overjoyed she was to be a member of the Davis Police Department.

"God himself placed Natalie to be on duty on that day, on that shift, at that hour, responding to that call for service. Standing on that exact spot. And he himself has called her into his presence," he said.
