Crews battling 2-alarm brush fire threatening structures in Fairfield, officials say

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- Firefighters are battling a 2-alarm brush fire that's threatening structures in Fairfield.

According to a tweet sent out Friday evening by the Fairfield Fire Department, the fire is burning at Red Top and McGary Road.

No word yet on what started the fire and how many acres it has burned.
