MORAGA, Calif. -- Firefighters are battling a three-alarm brush fire in Moraga this afternoon that has so far consumed around 40 acres, according to
Moraga-Orinda Fire Protection District's chief.
Firefighters responded around 12:30 p.m. to a report of a grass fire near Natalie Drive, Fire Chief Stephen Healy said.
As of around 1:45 p.m., Healy said the fire was roughly 80 percent contained and he expected the fire would be completely contained within an hour.
No structures have been damaged in the fire and Healy said no injuries have been reported.
