Einstein Bros. creates world's first caffeinated bagel

PHILADELPHIA -- Einstein Bros. announced that it's now selling a caffeinated bagel.

The Espresso Buzz Bagel is believed to be the first of its kind.

It features 32 milligrams of caffeine, plus 13 grams of protein. And yes, it actually does taste like coffee.

For comparison, a shot of espresso has about 64 milligrams of caffeine and a regular cup of coffee has about 95 milligrams.

The bagel is only available for a limited time.

Einstein Bros. has shops in San Jose and Cal-State East Bay in Hayward.
