Freon leak at Danville Costco prompts evacuation

DANVILLE, Calif. -- Firefighters are responding to a Freon leak this morning at a Costco in Danville, Danville officials said.

A fire dispatcher said the first report of the leak came in at 9:19 a.m. at the store 3150 Fostoria Way.

Danville officials said that all employees and customers left the store safely. Town officials could not say when the store will reopen.
