SAN JOSE, Calif. -- A gas leak on a 4-inch line near the Blossom Hill Caltrain station in San Jose has been capped Tuesday afternoon, PG&E officials said.



The leak was reported at 11:19 a.m. on Great Oaks Parkway near Cottle Road and adjacent to the Caltrain tracks, a San Jose fire dispatcher said.



Police responded and shut down streets in the area and rail service was also stopped in the area, the dispatcher said.



PG&E crews responded and capped the leak by 1:24 p.m., according to the utility.



No injuries were reported as a result of the leak and roads are expected to open soon.
