Wildlife SOS, an animal conservation group from India, was able to rescue a 4-year-old female leopard from drowning in a 60-foot well in Junnar, India.
A team led by Wildlife SOS veterinarian Dr. Ajay Deshmukh, along with help from forest department officials and villagers, lowered a crate into the well for the leopard to jump into. After being rescued, the leopard was examined by Deshmukh.
Wildlife SOS said in a statement, "[The leopard] was found to be in good health and was later released back into the wild."
