1 killed, 1 hospitalized in Oakland shooting

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead and a man in the hospital. It happened around 1:30 this morning, on 69th Avenue.

Police think both victims were inside a car that appears to have been shot up. Officers say the woman who died was hit several times. The man with her was only hit once. He was able to run from the scene and was taken to the hospital, where he's in stable condition.

There is no word on a motive or any suspects in the shooting.
