We're learning new details about the 30-year-old woman who hit two 12-year-old boys in a crosswalk while they were walking to school.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- New details are emerging about the San Francisco woman arrested on suspicion of drinking while diving. Wednesday morning she plowed into two 12-year-old boys in a crosswalk in the Marina District while they were walking to school.

It appears 30-year-old Kirsten Andereck is a longtime resident of San Francisco, was a teacher, and about 10 years ago made her debut as a debutante.

An article in the San Francisco Chronicle names Andereck as a 2004 debutante. There was a coming out at a party put on by the Cotillion Club of San Francisco.

The Chronicle also reports, Andereck has a Master's degree from the University of San Francisco and has worked as an elementary school teacher in the city.
