A warming trend will begin to get underway Inland this afternoon and will continue into the weekend. Highs will range from the mid 60s to the mid 90s under sunny skies. Onshore winds pick up this afternoon gusting 20 to 30 mph. A Beach Hazard statement continues along the coast for rough surf and the increased risk of rip currents.
A Look Ahead
A Beach Hazard statement will be in effect along the coast through Saturday for rough surf and the increased risk of sneaker waves. By the weekend, our hottest areas Inland will reach the triple digits, bringing a moderate heat risk to the area. Cooler weather will return starting Tuesday of next week.
