Takeaway of the Day This Mother's Day began with some lingering morning fog and low clouds near the coast and bay, but the afternoon brought mostly sunny and mild to warm weather. High temperatures have ranged from near 60 degrees at the coast, to lower 70s along the bay shoreline, to mid-80s inland. Apart from a little cool morning mist, this has been a lovely day for celebrating moms.

The Look Ahead The week ahead will not bring any dramatic changes in our weather. Today marked the beginning of a slightly cooler pattern than we had going into this weekend, but the next seven days will remain mostly sunny, with generally mild to warm temperatures. Even as a breezy pattern develops near the end of the week, temperatures will drop only about two or three degrees-and there is no rain in sight.
