An online dating site is giving Firefox web browser users a political earful when they log onto its home page.

OkCupid has posted a message urging people to stop supporting the new chief executive officer at Mozilla, which makes Firefox.

CEO Brendan Eich donated campaign money in 2008 to pass Proposition 8, which outlawed same-sex marriage in California. That law was overturned by the Supreme Court.

OkCupid is offering a bypass link for those who want to continue to the site. The company is also offering redirect links for the other major browsers.
